வட தமிழ்ச் சங்கத் தலைவர் விடுக்கும் செய்தி
அன்பார்ந்த வட தமிழ்ச் சங்க உறுப்பினர்களே,
உங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் என் அன்பு கலந்த வணக்கமும் வாழ்த்துகளும்.
2023-24 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான வட தமிழ்ச் சங்கத்தின் தலைவராகப் பணியாற்றுவதை பெருமையாகக் கருதுகிறேன். இங்கிலாந்தில் உள்ள தமிழ் சமூகத்திற்கு இன்னும் ஒரு அற்புதமான ஆண்டை வழங்க என்னுடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றும் குழுவை அறிவிப்பதில் நான் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறேன்.

ஒரு குழுவாக, இந்த அமைப்பின் பாரம்பரியத்தைத் தொடர்வதன் மூலமும், அது சாதகமான மற்றும் எங்கள் மதிப்புகளுடன் பொருந்தக்கூடிய புதிய வழிகளைத் தழுவுவதன் மூலமும் இந்த அமைப்பின் மதிப்புகள் மற்றும் நோக்கத்தை நிலைநிறுத்த நாங்கள் பாடுபடுவோம். இந்த ஆண்டு என்.டி. ஏவின் 37 வது ஆண்டு நிறைவைக் குறிக்கிறது. இந்த அமைப்பின் தொடர்ச்சியான வெற்றி நமது சமூகத்தின் உற்சாகம், அர்ப்பணிப்பு மற்றும் ஈடுபாட்டிற்கு ஒரு சான்றாகும், அவர்களின் ஆதரவு இல்லாமல் எங்களால் ஒரு அமைப்பாக வழங்கவும் வளரவும் முடியாது. இந்த அமைப்புக்கு நீங்கள் வழங்கும் இடைவிடாத ஆதரவுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவிப்பதன் மூலம் எனது பதவிக்காலத்தைத் தொடங்க விரும்புகிறேன், மேலும் மற்றொரு ஆண்டு நிகழ்வுகளை பிரமாண்டமாகவும் வெற்றிகரமாகவும் வழங்க நீங்கள் எங்களுக்கு உதவுவீர்கள் என்று நான் நம்புகிறேன்.
எங்கள் தீபாவளி கொண்டாட்டம் 2023 நவம்பர் 4 ஆம் தேதி மான்செஸ்டரில் உள்ள வைடென்ஷா மன்ற மண்டபத்தில் நடைபெறும். எங்கள் வருடாந்திர மின் இதழான தென்றலுக்கான பதிவுகளுக்கான விவரங்கள் விரைவில் கிடைக்கும். வெற்றி பெற்றவர்கள் எங்கள் தீபாவளி விழாவில் அறிவிக்கப்படுவார்கள். பேச்சு பொட்டியும் திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது, அதற்கான விவரங்கள் விரைவில் கிடைக்கும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. புதுப்பிப்புகளுக்கு தவறாமல் தளத்தைப் பார்வையிடவும், இந்த ஆண்டு எங்கள் அனைத்து நிகழ்வுகளிலும் உங்கள் குடும்பத்துடன் உங்களைப் பார்ப்பேன் என்று நம்புகிறேன். 2024 ஏப்ரலில் தமிழ்ப் புத்தாண்டையொட்டி இசை நிகழ்ச்சியை நடத்த உள்ளோம், அதன் விவரங்கள் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.
பேச்சுப் போட்டிகள்
வட தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் ஏற்பாட்டிலான பேச்சுப் போட்டிகளை 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரியில் நடத்துவதற்குத் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளோம். ஒன்றியப் பேரரசில் வாழும் தமிழ்ப் பள்ளிப் பிள்ளைகளுக்காக, தொடர்ந்து ஐந்தாவது ஆண்டாக, நமது சங்கத்தால், இந்தப் பொதுப் பேச்சுப் போட்டி நடத்தப்படவிருக்கிறது.
நம் சங்கத் துணைத் தலைவர் திருமதி. கவிதா சேதுமாதவன் அவர்கள் இந்தப் பேச்சுப் போட்டியைப் பொறுப்பேற்று நடத்துகிறார். உங்கள் வசிப்பிடம் சார்ந்த தமிழ்ப் பள்ளிகளில் பயிலும் மாணவர்களை இந்தப் போட்டிகளில் கலந்து கொள்ளுமாறு ஊக்கம் அளித்திட அன்பு கூர்ந்து வேண்டுகின்றேன்.
தமிழ்ப் புத்தாண்டு இன்னிசை நிகழ்ச்சி:
2024 ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழ்ப் புத்தாண்டு தின விழாவை ஏப்ரல் மாதத்தில் கொண்டாடுவது என்று தற்காலிகமாக முடிவு செய்துள்ளோம். அந்த விழா நாளில், சென்னையிலிருந்து கலைஞர்கள் வருகைதந்து பங்கு கொள்வர். பல்வகைக் கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகளும் வேடிக்கை நிகழ்ச்சிகளும் இனிதே நடைபெறும்.
அனைத்து உறுப்பினர்களும் கலந்து கொள்ளும் பொதுக்குழுக் கூட்டம்:
இதுபற்றி விரைவில் தகவல்கள் வெளியாகும். வ த ச உறுப்பினர்கள் அனைவரும் தொடர்ந்து வழங்கிவரும் ஆதரவிற்காக, நான் அனைத்து உறுப்பினர்களுக்கும் என்னுடைய இதயங்கனிந்த நன்றியைச் சம்ர்ப்பிக்கின்றேன்.

It is an honour to serve as the president of the Northern Tamil Association for the year 2023-24. I am pleased to announce the team who will support me and work together to deliver another amazing year to the Tamil community in the UK.

As a team, we will strive to uphold the values and purpose of this organisation by continuing its tradition and embracing new ways of working where it is advantageous and fits in with our values. This year marks the 37th anniversary of NTA. The continuing success of this organisation is a testimony to the enthusiasm, dedication and involvement of our committee, members, and the Tamil community, without whose support we would not be
able deliver and thrive as an organisation. I would like to begin my term by thanking you all for the unfailing support you give to this organisation and I am sure that you will help me and my team with delivering another year of events in a grand and successful way.
As with every year, we have the exciting line up of events planned for this year starting with
Deepavali kondattam on the 4 th November 2023 at Wythenshaw Forum Hall.
Details for entries for our annual e-magazine, Thendral, will be available soon. The winning
entries for will be announced at our Deepavali event.Pechu potti is also being planned, the details for which are expected to become available very soon.
We shall, in time honoured tradition, host a music event around Tamil New Year in April2024, the details of which are being worked out.Details for our next AGM will be available soon.

Deepavali Kondattam 2023
Deepavali along with 37th Year celebration is planned for Saturday, 4th November at Wythenshawe
Forum Hall, Manchester.
The format would be the same as previous year’s events, regional competitions for children and
adults in various categories. Please book your tickets and participate in the mega Event. Booking details are below

We are pleased to inform all of you that we are accepting entry for the next issue of Thendral Magazine
Public Speaking (Pechu potti) Event
NTA “பேச்சுப்போட்டி” is planned for Decemeber 2023. This will be the sixth year of public speaking competition for Tamil school students in the UK.
More details with regards to the event will be available soon
Tamil New Year concert
The 2024 Tamil New Year function has been provisionally scheduled for April 2024.
There will be a team of musicians from Tamil Nadu entertaining with their amazing music
